Verdict: Another favourite with Pro's who could hit RR to rip jackpots out of it. Not a true empty but good banks could be built on the first few programs. There were over 7 program revisions for this and rumours of a physical trick (turning the power off at a certain point).
Special Note:
Not too many about these days and rechipped to hell much like Hot Shot. However there is still some value to be had despite the fact certain features are blocked despite being true skill! As will all ACE / JPM machines a degree of skill is required to maximise profit and hit features for the JP.
Summary of method:
Caesar's Palace is a very simple game by where you gain a trail for nudges to play for cash prizes and barcodes features - the premis is to take ROMAN REELS as this a true Stop N Step feature on the reels. As the 123 barcode is not too easily available this is not a true empty, however if you can hit the red 7 off the feature for the jackpot you will always come out a head.
ROMAN REELS / Stop N Step
A reel will spin rapidly allowing the player to aim for a fruit symbol to hit, most average players will hit a medium to small win and so sometimes the feature is left unblocked by the manufacturer - thus players who can aim for a symbol and hit it benefit because the machine has to pay the win although in theory the win is not hittable. Pro's use various methods such as time-outs and wedging to get the desired win - most of the time they use other symbols as markers for a hitting a win.
The Stop N Step feature can be found on various machines and is responsible for the empty on some AWP machines and manipulation on older club machines. In response to player manipulation programmers designed the software to slip past wins that were hit if the feature should not pay that win or if the program cycle is not at a point where the machine can afford the win. Bastards!
The Method:
Simply play for trail and keep an eye on 1 2 3 barcode setups when on the nudge ladder - once you get the barcode enter 1 3 2 for ROMAN REELS and play for the red 7 for jackpot. The position of the red 7 is 3 above the red bar on the reel - does take practice but is achievable! Keep playing a taking ROMAN REELS until a healthy profit point is reached. Another jackpot capable feature is Up Pompei - which is a true skill fast cash feature, the super feature flies straight upto the JP so be quick.
Revisions:
Ace made several program upgrades to get the machine just right, but this was at expense to the above mentioned true skills feature. Although features can still produce jackpots they are often barred, especially the Up Pompei feature!
