GUIDE
PIE FACTORY
Game Description:
This is a classic modern boring machine, which is progressive adhering to its %age. In other words, turn down £4, £3 credits later you'll be offered £6 and so-on. This means it's totally predictable.
You can do this until it offers the jackpot, but basically that'll just be £18 in, £15 out and so-on, same for £25 version.
The prime feature is the 3 'redhot' symbols; you know these are coming soon when the cash trail starts on £2+, or the feature trail 2 spaces up etc. The 'bar' is on £2 on the machine, hence if starting at that or better, you know it's ready to force for the top awards.
You can play for the jackpot, but it seldom repeats, so go for the redhots. if the boards are starting at the above levels, then play round using skill chances etc. to land on the redhots. If you're going for the redhots, DON'T collect jackpot, although it'll try and encourage you to.Once you're within 3 spaces of the jackpot, and have Upper Crust available on the features, take this (or less and gamble up to it). If you lose, OK, if not, let the UC feature time out and get zilch, and of course after this you'll get a nother board, very happy again!
You'll do this about 2 or 3 times, each time refusing a jackpot. The game may go red (I.M.), but unless you can get the 3 redhots first, refuse the jackpot. This redhot will give a win series equivalent to £15 jackpot, or £24 on the £25 jackpot version. It can go for far more, whatever it does, play for 1 more board and see if it's 'happy' again, if so take jackpot and leave.
If next board starts on les than £1.60, you'll lose, so take it.
You can take Baker's Dozen for easy skill jackpot on the numbers reel by using the no-lose award selected from the skill-shot bonus if you get it, as it's in effect an extra-life if you have a 2 or 11. If you've got a second jackpot, leave immediately as the machine will die on you.
TRICKS AND TIPS:
Try doing silly gambles, i.e. lower than 3, on numbers reel. If successful, machine is ready for jackpot.
Don't try for a successive jackpot after the redhots if next board starts on less than £1.60 or £2, as it's only going to die on you.
On the Upper Crust feature, for easy jackpot, hold all buttons down with your arm across say, and keep hitting the other one you can't hold with your other hand. It'll climb up quickly to top.
SUMMARY:
This is a real 'sharks' machine - if you watch it, and wait for a few munters to gamble and lose when boards start at £1.60-£2, then you KNOW when they leave, that you can get a jackpot or redhots for less than the amount won, so ensuring continuous profit while you're near one!
